Sarah Farrell MSc UKCP Module lead and lecturer I’m an experienced Metanoia-trained Gestalt psychotherapist with a breadth of client experience, in both private practice and the NHS. I have set up and ran a (still ongoing) Mental Health Familiarisation Placement for training therapists and worked for many years as Clinical Lead in a community service for people with complex mental health presentations. I have a particular interest in social inclusion and the impact of being ‘other’. I have been supporting training therapists at Metanoia since 2019, working across a variety of courses. My teaching is grounded in curiosity about how our therapeutic work is sharpened by how we experience power and difference in the wider social context, and I really value teaching as a space of dialogue, where we might all learn and change together.
