Dr Naomi Middleton is a Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy, University of Oxford) with over 10 years of experience spanning NHS physical health services and private practice. Naomi began her career within the NHS, working across physical health services where she developed a strong foundation in the psychological impact of chronic illness and the interplay between mental and physical wellbeing.
Now in private practice, Naomi specialises in supporting clients navigating the emotional and psychological challenges of physical health conditions, with particular expertise in gut health and pelvic floor health. Her integrative approach draws on specialist training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), allowing her to work with clients holistically — addressing trauma, deeply held emotional patterns, and the mind-body connection.
Naomi also holds a position as Senior Lecturer and teaches advanced professional development focusing on working as an applied psychologist in NHS settings.
Naomi is also a qualified yoga teacher specialising in yin and restorative yoga and regularly runs workshops that combine psychological theory and skill with yoga and body-based practices. Naomi also works with organisations to provide psychological content in non-traditional settings.
