Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor, MSc Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy

With over a decade of clinical practice as a Relational Transactional Analyst and five years of experience as a lecturer and supervisor, my academic and professional identity is driven by a core conviction: that psychotherapy training is a profoundly democratic act, and that the healthy practitioner must hold a dynamic balance between personal agency and deep social responsibility. My pedagogical and supervisory work therefore focuses on guiding trainees and supervisees toward a robust sense of individualism, firmly anchored within the “harbour” of classical, contemporary, and relational TA theories, while facilitating genuine, co-constructed growth at the heart of the therapeutic relationship. Central to my inquiry is a sustained interest in identity, difference, and creativity—exploring how these dimensions can serve not as obstacles but as generative resources within the consulting room, and how the therapeutic dyad itself can become a laboratory for reimagining selfhood in a complex and diverse world.
