She also draws on neuroscience concerning the relationship between mind, body and brain in understanding the connection between physical responses and emotional or psychological distress. Sushila works extensively with clients who have received a diagnosis of autism and is committed to developing a style of therapy that is accessible, sustainable and effective when working with neurodivergence. Sushila has over 15 years’ experience working privately as a Biology, Chemistry and English tutor in the UK and abroad, primarily with students in alternative provisions. Prior to her training in psychology, she trained and worked as a professional actress in London and New York. She continues to work as a musician and singer songwriter and has a keen interest in the psychological role of creativity.
