Our Lecturers provide academic leadership that ensures high-quality teaching, learning and student success. They lead on curriculum development, assessment, quality assurance and module delivery while supporting staff and students.
Due to continued growth in our student numbers, we’re looking for UKCP-accredited Person-Centred psychotherapists. Ideally, you’ll also have either a teaching qualification such as PGCertHE or FHEA (or equivalent), or an interest in psychotherapy education and a willingness to work towards gaining a Metanoia-sponsored teaching qualification.
We offer flexible working patterns, including weekend teaching in person as well as online remote working. As part of our warm, welcoming and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in educating and nurturing our next cohort of emerging Person-Centred psychotherapists and counsellors, joining us at an exciting time in our development.
You’ll engage in training for pedagogy, research and leadership, seek mentoring and participate in peer observation, build professional networks inside and outside the Institute, and be an active representative of Metanoia Institute on key professional bodies and committees, external events, conferences and seminars. You’ll also contribute to the production of sector or journal articles and reviews, and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusive learning and practice.
