In order to study at Metanoia Institute, your written and spoken English must be of a standard which enables you to fully understand, and benefit from, your course of study. If English is not your primary language, or if you are not a national of a majority English-speaking country* and have not completed a degree in English, you will need to provide evidence of your English language ability to study with us. You will be asked to provide evidence of this via the course application form.
The most accepted evidence for this is an International English Language Testing System (IELTS). For most programmes, the accepted scores are below, however there are some exceptions that require a higher score. Please check the course page for your specific requirements.
- Most undergraduate (Bachelors) programmes - IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all components)
- Most postgraduate (Masters or Doctoral) programmes – IELTS 7.0 (with minimum 6.5 in all components)
We also accept a wide range of other English language tests. Click here for a full list of accepted qualifications.
Please note that many English language tests will have an expiry date.
